About Me

My name is Lynsey Hartman, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, supervised by Jessica Frasier, LPC-S, serving teens and adults across Texas. My background includes working as a special education teacher and a special services counselor within the school system, where I developed a strong foundation in supporting individuals through emotional, behavioral, and life challenges.

Over time, I felt called to expand that work beyond the school setting and into private practice, creating a space where individuals can receive more personalized and meaningful support.

  • My approach to counseling is practical, supportive, and tailored to each individual. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and DBT-informed and somatic-informed practices.

I have a special interest in supporting individuals through life transitions—whether that’s changes in roles, relationships, career paths, or stages of life like motherhood. I also value the unique experiences and perspectives of those from rural and agricultural communities and aim to provide care that feels relatable and grounded in real life.

  • Counseling doesn’t have to feel intimidating. My goal is to create a space that feels comfortable, real, and approachable. I value understanding the real-life experiences that shape each person, and I strive to provide care that feels relatable, grounded, and genuine.
